Pediatrics Physician

Location : Northeastern, NC

Duration : As soon as possible June Dec (potential to extend)

Reason for coverage : Immediate opening

Schedule : Monday Friday , 8a-5p (option for 4 or 5 fay work week)

Call : Optional (1 / 3 if taking hospital call)

Patient volume : Outpatient 18-24 / day in clinic.

Inpatient - If doing call, 2-3 patients / day (avg 2 newborn admissions)

Scope : Provide care for sick visits, wellness exams, follow up on medication and provide med. Refills and respond to nurse / staff messages / my chart messages. If choosing to take call, must have Neonatal resuscitation, Occasional extra -digit ligation, Circumcisions, and Ability to accept ED calls as needed.

EMR : EPIC

Hospital : 98 bed

Requirements (boards, license) : Board Certified, Active NC license
