Job Summary and Responsibilities
This 24 bed critical care unit houses patients being admitted for cardiac thoracic and vascular care. This unit also entails ICU and PCU levels of care. Each private room is large enough to house all necessary pumps and equipment while allowing for space for family support (when allowed). This includes CRRT Impella IABP and ventilators. Staffing is based on national standards of care and includes : 2 : 1 1 : 1 1 : 2 and 1 : 3.
