Sentara CarePlex Hospital is currently recruiting for a Registered Nurse for the Step Down Unit / Intermediate Care Unit.

License and Certification

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire

Education

This position's primary duties include assessing / admitting patients, rounding checks, giving medications, talking with family members, and being responsible for the overall care of your patients. Department Overview

This is a 24-bedunit where we care for patients with a variety of healthcare needs. We are the designated Stroke Unit. We provide for respiratory compromised patients on Bipap, high-flo and / or chronic long term vents. We manipulate and titrate vasoactive infusionsand have bedside monitors. We provide care for patients with DKA, CHF, Pneumonia, and much more.
