We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Vermont. This role begins on Nov 17, 2025, and includes a varied work schedule, primarily covering day shifts from Monday to Thursday, with extended hours on Wednesday. The position involves using Athenahealth EMR and requires proficiency in Family Medicine.

Responsibilities and Duties

Provide comprehensive family practice care to a diverse patient population

Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage follow-up care

Prescribe medication and interpret diagnostic tests

Maintain patient records using Athenahealth EMR

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care

Participate in patient education and preventive health programs

Handle telephone consultations as part of after-hours patient support

Additional Information

Must hold a valid Vermont Nurse Practitioner license

Required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Board certified in Family Medicine
