About The Position

Job Title : Respiratory Therapist

Profession : Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

Specialty : RRT-NICU

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day 3x12-Hour

Hours per Shift : 06 : 30 - 19 : 00

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of NICU Level 3 or 4 experience and Adult ICU experience required.

License : State licensed

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, CRT, NRP, PALS, RRT

Must-Have : Strong NICU experience (Level 3 or 4)

Description :

Position requires floating between units; must be flexible.

Weekends are required every other week.

The candidate will primarily be assigned to NICU but may float to adult critical care units.

Charting experience in Epic is required.

Previous charge experience is preferred.

Experience with high-risk deliveries and emergency procedures is essential.

Familiarity with special equipment such as oscillating ventilators and high-frequency jet ventilation is highly preferred.

Candidates must be able to perform various respiratory care procedures including intubation, extubation, and suctioning.

Knowledge and skills in interpreting arterial blood gases and managing tracheostomies are crucial.

The candidate should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

References from previous supervisory roles within the last three years are required.

All shortlisted candidates must be prepared to float within the facility as needed.
