The Role
We are looking for a talented and experienced IT Support Administrator to work across the Red 6 organization. You will provide support and technical assistance to internal customers who are using software, hardware, or other computer systems and need help completing tasks or troubleshooting problems through diagnostic tests and remote access to their computers.
Responsibilities
- Maintain computer systems and act as a first line of support for systems, and users
- Responsible for PC's, Printers, Servers and related equipment (monitor, keyboard, mouse, hard drive, etc.)
- Maintain user PCs, including upgrades and configurations as needed
- Assist with onboarding of new users
- Maintain inventory of all equipment, software, and license users
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
- Respond to queries either in person or over the phone
- Write training manuals
- Maintain daily performance of computer systems
- Walk user through problem-solving process
- Clean up computers
- Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems
- Install computer peripherals for users
- Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved
- Gain feedback from customers about computer usage
- Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur
Qualifications
2+ years of experience working in a help desk environmentA+ CertificationFlexibility to work a variety of shifts with minimal noticeAvailable to work regular overtimeProficiency with macOS, Windows, and Linux (Debian based)Excellent oral communication skillsDetail-oriented in order to keep detailed notes on ticketsAbility to diagnose and resolve basic computer technical issuesGeneral awareness of computer systems, PC repair, and network managementResourcefulness and quick-thinking nature to troubleshoot new and critical technical issues as they ariseAbility to deploy, configure, and support operating systems on desktop and mobileUnderstanding and appreciation for information security within systems and user devicesStrong drive to provide excellent customer service and experience, with an awareness of prioritization of tasks, stakeholders, budget, and timeQualified candidate must have the ability to obtain a security clearance. This requires U.S. CitizenshipPreferred Skills
