Medical Assistant II
The University of Iowa Community Clinics is seeking a patient centered Medical Assistant II to work at our UICC North Liberty Pediatrics Clinic. This position will mainly support our Pediatrics Clinics but could float to other patient specialties / clinic locations including but not limited to : Pediatrics, Family Medicine, and / or Specialty / Outreach Clinics.
Under direct supervision of LIP (licensed independent practitioner), RN (registered nurse), NM / ANM (nurse manager / assistant nurse manager), or other licensed designee, functions as a member of the patient care team. Performs technical, patient care, and related clerical functions in the urgent care setting by coordinating all elements of the patient visit.

Percent of Time : 80% (32 hours per week)
Schedule : Variable hours Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM. No weekends, on-call time, or holiday shifts required.
Location : North Liberty, IA. (or surround clinics based on clinical need or hours)
Pay Grade : 9
Salary : $40,903.92 - $60,760.80 (at 100% time) (based on years of experience)
