Therapist
Part-time, non-exempt employee
Requires weekly supervision from outside licensed practitioner.
Summary
The LPHA Associate co-manages a caseload of clients, provides individual therapy, facilitates
clinical and education groups, and completes associated documentation.
Essential Functions
Conduct weekly individual therapy with caseload.
Facilitate clinical and educational groups.
Complete tasks in SmartCare including individual and group documentation, client-
specific data relating to authorizations, and other program paperwork and forms.
Conduct pre-screenings, assessments, and other admissions paperwork.
Conduct crisis intervention counseling, as needed.
Maintain working knowledge of other drug and alcohol treatment agencies and programs
as well as a list of resources that can be shared with clients.
Attend the weekly Treatment Team Meeting with focus on review of client progress
related to treatment.
Participate in all assigned meetings (including quarterly staff meeting, and weekly
Treatment Team meeting) and staff development training, as required.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Skills Required
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Knowledge and understanding of ASAM Criteria and its application in
Screening / Assessment
Knowledge of DMC-ODS requirements
Working knowledge of SmartCare electronic health records
Over a year of personal sobriety
AMFT / ACSW license
Pre-screen drug and TB testing
Submit to background check
