Job Summary :

The Plant Maintenance Mechanic oversees performing ongoing facility maintenance and completing repairs

on equipment. Their duties include fixing machinery, plumbing, heating, wiring, boilers, welding, inspecting

buildings to confirm safety standards and scheduling major repairs.

Duties & Responsibilities

Performing various types of maintenance

Performing routine maintenance around the buildings

Repairing broken or leaking plumbing

Repairing / working on electrical wiring

Maintaining line equipment

Maintaining boilers

Rebuild pumps

Preventative measures to reduce the risk of future problems

Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries

Other duties as requested by management

Follow all Company personnel policies and procedures

Qualifications

Education

High School Degree with relevant experience

Experience Required

Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in manufacturing environment

Mechanical Electrical experience REQUIRED

Boiler experience PREFERRED

Welding experience PREFERRED

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Strong mathematical, analytical and time management skills

Highly organized, detail-oriented and team player

Ability to learn quickly and to work in fast-paced environment

Measurement

The Plant Maintenance Mechanic is measured according to the following criteria :

Execute preventative maintenance

Keep all equipment in working order

Deliverables :

Equipment in working order

Follow Safety procedures & standards

Repairs in timely manner
