Presented by Mission Recruiting, this opening allows you to join a dynamic law firm operating in Newport Beach (22 attorneys) and San Diego (2 attorneys), with additional remote support in San Antonio.

This role is ideal for an attorney who thrives in a mentorship-driven environment, values culture, and wants to gradually manage their own docket.

Role Overview

  • Serve clients in all phases of estate planning and trust administration
  • Draft wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, advance health care directives, durable powers of attorney
  • Counsel clients on tax-efficient strategies, GST planning, gifting, and business succession
  • Guide fiduciaries through probate, trust accounting, creditor claims, and asset distributions
  • Collaborate closely with a partner initially; gradually transition to independent case handling
  • Optional (non-required) opportunity to build a clientele, with formal 1 : 1 training from a consultant

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 2 to 12 years of focused trusts & estates experience
  • Admitted and in good standing with the California Bar
  • No significant gaps or red flags in employment history
  • Strong interpersonal skills, willingness to contribute to a positive firm culture
  • Interest in collaborating, learning, and mentoring down the line
  • Compensation & Incentives

  • Base salary : $150,000 to $190,000 (Depending on experience)
