Overview NextPath Career Partners, on behalf of our client, is seeking a Public Relations Associate to join their team in Clearwater, FL . This is a hybrid, part-time contract position. Base pay range : $50,000.00 / yr - $50,000.00 / yr . Hourly pay : $25-$27 / hr (depending on experience).

Note : This posting does not guarantee employment and pay will be based on skills and experience.

Location Clearwater, FL

Responsibilities Assist in the development and execution of PR strategies and campaigns.

Draft and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other PR materials.

Maintain and update media contact lists and databases.

Monitor media coverage and compile regular reports on PR performance.

Coordinate interviews, press events, and media briefings.

Support crisis communication efforts as needed.

Collaborate with internal teams (account, social media, content) to ensure message consistency.

Track and manage PR calendars, deadlines, and deliverables.

Research media trends, journalist interests, and competitor PR activity.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

1–2 years of experience in PR, communications, or a related role. Internships NOT included in this.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Familiarity with media monitoring tools (e.g., Cision, Meltwater) and PR software.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
