WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU As a key member of our Montrose team, you can expect : A DAY IN THE LIFE As a Contracts Administrator, you will join our Legal team and can be based in any U.S. Montrose office location. The successful candidate will be a key member of the legal team providing a range of administrative support. They will possess a high attention to detail, the ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop a strong understanding of our systems.As a key member of the Legal team, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including :
- Provide support to Montrose's legal team on a broad range of federal and private sector contracting and procurement issues, including, contract and subcontract preparation, template development, management of legal document flow, and other administrative work as assigned.
- Assist with administration of contracts, including document management, insurance requirement assessments / requests, and completion of client-specific documentation.
- Maintain the organization's contract files with updated documentation and feedback.
- Prepare business correspondence (internal and external) and tables to summarize contract and proposal reviews, including but not limited to federal contract summaries and flow down tables.
- Prepare basic contracts and associated documents using standard templates.
- Perform substantive contractual review / analysis, as needed.
- Liaise with other teams within the business to ensure proper processes and procedures are followed and that client-specific contract provisions are met, as necessary.
- Provide wide variety of administration support to the legal team, as needed. YOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLS To perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.
- Associate's Degree or higher
- 4+ years of experience in contracts administration and / or procurement, supporting a contracts and procurement and / or legal or finance team.
- Experience working in a professional office setting.
- Experience with federal contracts and processes. Abilities :
- Ability to prioritize, show strong organizational skills, and be a team player.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to execute a high quality of work in an open, energetic, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to work independently and also within groups, handling a large volume of work in an evolving environment.
- Detail oriented with ability to think through tasks and understand connections.
- Adept at learning how to navigate new software and systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Adobe Pro, and Workday. Security Clearance Level :
