job_description.job_card.job_descriptionApplicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis Enrolled in a Paper Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar Engineering degree program Living in or willing to relocate to the Kaukauna, Wisconsin area from June - August 2026 Strong technical aptitude and proven problem solving abilities Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization Must follow Ahlstrom's manufacturing and hygiene processes, procedures and policies, as applicable, to the position's areas of responsibility, in order to meet and maintain the safety, quality, and regulatory compliance requirements for each grade of paper Assist and / or lead safety, productivity, quality, efficiency, cost control, compliance, and housekeeping projects Support machine manager in leading a paper machine process line, including daily and long term activities Support operations / maintenance efforts and drive continuous improvement
We are seeking a Process Engineer Intern at our Kaukauna, Wisconsin plant for Summer 2026. This position will assist the Production Team in the achievement of safety, quality, production, cost, and product development objectives of a paper machine process line. We offer the opportunity to work in an engaged, team-focused environment while building related skills and experience for your future.
