job_description.job_card.job_descriptionControl access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures. Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with access-related inquiries and directions. Carry out security-related procedures and respond to incidents and / or emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner. Document and report all security-related activities, incidents, and irregularities as required by site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential concerns, adapting to the dynamic environment of a technology and media-focused location. Collaborate with on-site personnel and Allied Universal management to maintain clear communication regarding security-related matters at the location. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. A valid driver's license is required in the job state for driving positions. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. - Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
