Role : Senior Application Systems Engineer – SAP integrations and front-end interfaces, contributing to agile, business-first technology delivery that supports revenue generation.
Responsibilities
- Identify customer requirements and develop front-end components and services integral to software architecture.
- Contribute to business processes or solutions, selecting methodologies to meet client service metrics, quality, risk management, business growth, and teaming objectives.
- Define and execute deliverables with efficiency; manage completion of deliverables and engagement economics reports.
- Track resource plans and budgets; handle project statuses.
- Participate in client sessions as a workstream member or team lead.
- Travel based on client needs with billable hours expectations.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree required; 2–4 years of relevant integration experience with SAP systems preferred.Design and implement SAP integration scenarios using tools such as SAP PI / PO, SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Trading Partner Management, Advanced Event Mesh, Edge Integration Cell).Experience with other integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica) is a plus.Hands-on experience with interfaces using APIs (ODATA, SOAP), Events, ABAP Proxies, RFCs, IDOCs, Files, etc.Experience in integration architecture and data integrity across systems; familiarity with adapters (ODATA, SOAP, AMQP, AS2 / AS4, Ariba, JMS, HTTPS, JDBC, IDOC, SFTP, Process Direct, Mail).Knowledge of security best practices for integrations (authentication, authorization, data encryption).Monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., SAP Cloud ALM, Solution Manager, Splunk).Experience building B2B integrations and EDIFACT / ANSI X12 standards.Experience with cloud integration platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Agile / DevOps practices.Strong communication, business acumen, and problem-solving skills; ability to translate client needs into technical solutions.Willingness to travel; travel estimated at 80%.Preferred (Ideally)
Experience working in cross-functional teams; prior consulting experience or deep functional SAP expertise.SAP certifications; experience with at least one full cycle implementation of core module.What We Look For
