Are you a hands-on technical professional looking for a new challenge onshore? As a Mission Equipment Engineer, you will become the single point of contact (SPOC) for all mission equipment within our offshore projects. Based in Vlissingen (NL), you will manage and coordinate the storage, maintenance, and repair of all specialized project equipment — everything that is not permanently fixed on board our vessels. Think of grippers, cranes, transition pieces, drills, piling equipment, telescopic ladders, pile cleaning tools, and more.

This is a newly created role with plenty of room to grow. In the near future, you will lead a small team of technicians, while already playing a central role in keeping all mission equipment operational, safe, and project-ready.

As Mission Equipment Engineer, you ensure all project-specific equipment is ready to perform when mobilized to a vessel. You oversee the inventory, plan maintenance and repairs, and coordinate logistics between projects.

Your main tasks include :

• Managing the storage, maintenance, and repair of mission equipment;
• Coordinating in- and outgoing materials and tools for projects worldwide;
• Maintaining schedules to keep equipment operational and certified at all times;
• Using tools like Maximo and Ops365 to track history, plan repairs, and prevent double bookings;
• Being the SPOC for all equipment-related matters, supporting project and vessel preparations;
• Organizing spare parts, documentation, and certificates to ensure compliance with QHSE-S standards;
• Leading (in the future) a team of 2 technicians and coordinating third-party specialists.
