Job Details

Responsibilities :

Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of securitization and structured finance transactions, including asset-backed securities, collateralized loan obligations, and other structured products.
Advise on legal and regulatory issues related to securitization and asset-based finance, including compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, risk management, and operations, to structure transactions and mitigate risk.
Provide legal advice and guidance on the structuring and execution of securitization transactions, including the preparation and review of transaction documents.
Develop and implement legal strategies and procedures related to securitization and asset-based finance.
Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes affecting securitization and asset-based finance, and advise management on potential impacts and recommended actions.
Manage external counsel and other advisors to ensure effective and efficient support for securitization transactions.

Qualifications :

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Must be a member in good standing of a state bar.

Minimum of 3-6 years of experience as a securitization attorney, with a strong focus on asset-based finance.

Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex securitization and structured finance transactions.

In-depth knowledge of laws and regulations related to securitization and asset-based finance.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to effectively manage complex transactions.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
