Fleet Compliance Specialist
Are you passionate about DOT compliance and transportation logistics? We're seeking a Fleet Compliance Specialist to help us maintain compliance and operational excellence across our fleet of drivers in North America. Based in Rhome, TX just north of Fort Worth, this role will work onsite with our Transportation and Logistic team.
This role is critical in managing FMCSA and DOT regulations, driver qualification programs, and DOT drug / alcohol testing. You'll also oversee key fleet management systems and deliver reporting and analysis that leadership relies on for decisions related to repairs, new vehicle purchases, and operating costs.

What You'll Do
- Ensure Compliance & Safety
- Administer DOT / FMCSA drug and alcohol testing programs, including random selections, recordkeeping, and Clearinghouse reporting
- Manage Samsara for driver onboarding, offboarding, and compliance monitoring
- Track driver qualifications, MVRs, license renewals, and DOT physicals
- Monitor safety performance and support driver training programs such as Smith System audits
- Manage Fleet Operations
- Maintain Fleetio database for preventative maintenance, repairs, and compliance tracking
- Review and process invoices to ensure billing accuracy
- Oversee registrations, insurance updates, and Coast fuel card program
- File IFTA reports and maintain essential fleet documentation (SDS, registrations, insurance)
- Provide Data & Insights
- Compile and analyze fleet data to prepare monthly and quarterly compliance reports
- Deliver executive-level reporting on repairs, operating costs, and capital planning for fleet purchases
- Identify compliance risks or cost trends and recommend solutions
- Support audits, inspections, and corporate reporting
Qualifications
An associate's degree or higher in Business Administration or Logistics, or industry-recognized certifications such as ASP, CRCMP, NATMI, or DOT Compliance Training3+ years of experience in fleet compliance, DOT drug / alcohol testing programs, or transportation safetyStrong knowledge of FMCSA / DOT regulations including 49 CFR Part 40 (drug & alcohol testing)Experience with Samsara, Fleetio, Samba Safety, Coast fuel, or equivalent fleet systemsProven ability to analyze data and create executive-level reports for decision-makingStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to work with dataWhy Join A-Gas?
