Candidates must demonstrate experience in :
An understanding with Other Transaction Authorities (OTA) available within the USG, with demonstrated experience in leadership role(s) on USG Other Transaction (OT) Agreements. Knowledge of and experience working on a USG or Consortium Management Firm (CMF) led Consortia is also desirable.
Other Transaction Procurement Specialist Qualifications :
Eight (8) years of relevant experience related to Federal Contracting with a Bachelor’s Degree or in accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods or organization and management; prior Federal experience as a agreements officer and or Contracting Officer / Contract Specialist desirable; Demonstrated Ability : negotiating, awarding, administering Other transactions, agreements, competitive and sole source contracts; analysis of procurement policies and procedures; experience with Fixed-Price, Cost-Reimbursement, and Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts; develop price and cost analysis.
Waiver maybe issued by the government if the proposed candidate has a combination minimum of years of industry experience and / or degree in desired discipline ALONG with a minimum of one year (52 weeks) of direct experience supporting organizations related to Advanced Research and Development (ARD) and Medical Countermeasures (MCM).
