Travel Nursing Job Details

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) position

Healthcare Setting : Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 10-hour day shifts

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Estimated Weekly Pay : $2,390 - $2,570

CVOR RN Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois

BLS and ACLS certifications required

Completion of RNFA or CRNFA program preferred

Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR or Operating Room RN experience

Proficiency in anesthesia support (IV drips, Artline) and perfusion team collaboration

Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from Rockford, IL

CVOR RN Responsibilities

Deliver expert nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room, assisting with complex surgical procedures

Perform first assist duties and demonstrate advanced CVOR nursing skills

Work closely with anesthesia and perfusion teams to optimize patient outcomes

Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes during surgical procedures

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold the highest standards of patient safety
