The Opportunity

The Service Leader is responsible for maintaining a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served, and that the restaurant crew is well trained and provides good customer service. They maintain a clean, organized line with properly functioning line equipment. The responsibilities require being on your feet while clocked in, and when not busy, evaluating what other tasks need to be completed and assisting others.

What You'll Do

• Follow Chipotle's policies and procedures; ensure great tasting, high quality food is served
• Help resolve food quality issues
• Support food safety : hand washing, glove changes, monitoring time and temperature on the line, monitoring secondary shelf lives, and following the Daily Food Safety Checklist and food safety policies
• Help resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
• Develop and cross-train all front-of-house Crew
• Assist with Crew performance reviews
• Develop future Service Leaders
• Assist with miscellaneous office administration duties including banking, cash handling policies, and office paperwork
• Ensure office equipment remains in working order and ordering of office supplies as needed
• Ensure the proper quantity of supplies are available as needed
