Veterinary Assistant Opportunity

Are you a veterinary assistant looking for an opportunity in an emergency setting to grow career-wise and professionally? Virginia Veterinary Center of Fredericksburg, VA is looking to add veterinary assistants to its advanced and growing emergency department, and you might be their perfect fit!

Anticipated Schedule :

• Full-time position
• Three 12-hour shifts
• Two 12-hour on call shifts per month
• Morning and swing shift available
• 10am - 10pm or 12pm - 12am
• 7am - 7pm
• Hours and days are subject to change and are based on the needs of the hospital.
• Weekend shifts required

Compensation :

$20-25 per hour (commensurate with shift / experience)

Our ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience in veterinary medicine as an assistant and is looking for a role where they can expand their knowledge and skill-set through emergency medicine. We especially love veterinary assistants that are actively enrolled in a veterinary technician program to obtain licensure.
