Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Athens, Tennessee.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Specialty : PCU - Progressive Care Unit
  • Discipline : RN
  • Duration : 12 weeks
  • 36 hours per week
  • Shift : 12 hours, nights
  • Employment Type : Travel

Requirements

  • Certifications : ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, HWC, NRP, PALS
  • Experience : 1+ year (Post-Partum required; Couplet Care preferred)
  • Education : Active RN license in Tennessee
  • Skills :

    • Post-partum maternal assessment

  • Breastfeeding assistance
  • Pain management post C-section / normal delivery
  • Monitoring vital signs, managing complications
  • Administering medications
  • Parent education for safe transition home
  • Psychosocial / emotional support for mothers

    • Common Diagnoses / Treatments

  • Post-partum care
  • Bowel obstruction
  • Hip fracture
  • Cholelithiasis
  • Appendicitis
