DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Psychiatric Aide, you will play a critical role in providing quality care to consumers and ensuring their safety and well-being. You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse and will be responsible for assisting consumers with daily living activities, reporting any changes in their condition, and providing basic nursing care. Your duties will include assisting consumers with personal hygiene, monitoring their vital signs, and responding to any medical or psychiatric emergencies. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate medical records, documenting meals and exercise, and promoting a safe and therapeutic environment for consumers. Your role as a Psychiatric Aide is crucial in providing compassionate and competent care to consumers in need.
