The Community Association Manager is responsible for supervising, assisting and developing a team of Community Association Managers, including growing the team’s commitment to the organization and its clients.
Division Team Lead Responsibilities :
- Supervise, coach, train, and mentor a team of 10-12 Portfolio Community Association Managers
- Plan, assign, and direct work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining, addressing HR concerns and assisting with problem-solving solutions.
- Facilitate monthly team meetings
- Attend weekly division dead meetings
- Assist in interviewing and hiring decisions for new managers
- Remain up-to-date on new regulations, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining personal network
- Review and approve monthly expense reports, and PTO requests
- Provide and coordinate ongoing trainings for your team on best practices as well as company policies and procedures
- Manage a small portfolio of communities
Community Association Manager Responsibilities :
Ensure the financial, legal, physical maintenance, and homeowner compliance of each client or propertyCoordinate repairs, audits, inspections, fee collections, court appearances, and managing homeowner and client satisfactionProvide administrative support to homeowners in the communities we serve and provide information promptly to facilitate a rewarding client relationshipDevelop a credible relationship with the client and serve as the liaison between the client and the homeownerProvide professional advice / oversight for issues based on experience, continuing education, and perspective based on work experienceComply with all confidentiality requirements related to Board members and homeownersPerform other job-related duties as assignedEXPERIENCE / SKILLS :
2+ years' in a direct management role, team lead, supervising people3-5-years' experience as a Community Association ManagerCommunity Association Manager license (CMCA, AMS, PCAM designation preferred)Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and OutlookTeam-player mentalityExcellent verbal and written communicationValid Driver’s License
