Custom Steel Inc. - Schofield, WI

Custom Steel Incorporated is looking for a Wisconsin-licensed electrician to join our growing team as an Overhead Crane Technician. We specialize in manufacturing overhead bridge cranes and structural steel fabrication, serving industrial and commercial customers across Central Wisconsin.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on electrical work, problem-solving, and working on unique equipment in a shop and in-field setting.

Key Responsibilities :

Assemble electrical systems on overhead cranes and hoist equipment

Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform diagnostics

Read blueprints, schematics, and follow NEC / OSHA safety standards

Collaborate with Fabrication and Service Departments

Travel to local customer sites for troubleshooting and repair (company vehicle)

Qualifications :

Valid Wisconsin Electrical Credential License (Journeyman or Master)

Valid driver's license

Strong knowledge of industrial / commercial electrical systems

Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn crane systems

Self-motivated and safety-focused

Crane or hoist experience is a plus (not required – we will train)
