Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Manage and develop the customer experience team, including hiring, training, goal setting, and performance reviews.
  • Maximize sales, gross margin dollars, gross margin percentage, net profit, and return on average capital employed.
  • Communicate with the General Manager on sales trends, market developments, competition, and business opportunities.
  • Develop business plans, marketing and sales programs, and budgets based on market developments and sales trends.
  • Ensure implementation of marketing strategies, plans, and programs are met or exceeded.
  • Assist sales representatives in developing new business and maintaining current customer relationships.
  • Make recommendations regarding discretionary claims to the General Manager.
  • Manage price books and assist in major quotations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned; responsibilities may change at any time.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, or Engineering.
  • 5-7 years of progressive sales experience, inside / outside sales preferred.
  • Previous management experience.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems; SAP is a plus.
  • Experience managing large contracts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
