UNIT SYSTEMS : Pyxis, EPIC

REQUIRED CERTS / SKILLS : BLS ACLS NIH; Interpretation & Management of dysrhythmias, Multi-system organ failure, Pulmonary Artery Line / Swan Ganz monitoring, IV Insulin Protocols, GI surgery, Genitourinary / Renal, Chronic / Acute Renal failure, IV therapy, Accessing Ports, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care / management, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Continuous IV sedation, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, CVA / Acute Stroke management, Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion / Removal, Care of Ventilated Patient, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of ABGs, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Infection Prevention, Isolation, Precautions / Use of PPE, Phlebotomy, Surgical Wounds with drains / Wound Vac

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS :

RTO : MAX 7 days, Blocked Scheduling Not Guaranteed

WEEKENDS : EO

HOLIDAYS :

If one major holiday falls in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.

Thanksgiving / Black Friday : Thursday, November 23 & Friday November 24

Christmas Eve and Day : Sunday, December 24 & Monday, December 25

New Year’s Eve and Day : Sunday, December 31 & Monday, January 1

Memorial Day : Monday, May 27

Independence Day : Thursday, July 4

Labor Day : Monday, September 2

FLOATING : Within facility and to sister campus if needed

COMPLIANCE : Full compliance required to start on time, if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
