Ambassador Position

What You Get To Do :

  • This position reports to the VP, In-Park Revenue.
  • Collaborate with Merchandise warehouse leader to continue to drive our warehouse business forward.
  • Control and manage assets received, stored, and delivered through the culinary warehouse.
  • Maintain a safe work environment at all times.
  • Manage all daily aspects of the warehouse operation to include product delivery HACCP, safety, driving, fleet maintenance, general training and documentation programs to ensure that all department, park, company guidelines are met.
  • Manage the offsite storage programs to include annual cost evaluations, cycle counts, and inventory processes.
  • Ensure all corporate compliance requirements are met.
  • Assist with preparation of annual warehouse budget.
  • Ensure that all Standard Operating Procedures are followed for all areas related to warehousing.
  • Assist the culinary buying team with procurement of culinary products.
  • Responsible for the oversight and development of Asst. Supervisors and team members by providing training, feedback, coaching and scheduling.
  • Maintain compliance with all Food Safety guidelines, hygiene and cleanliness as stated by the Department of Agriculture and Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
  • Oversee budget to include controls in product cost, misc expenses, and labor expenses in order to maximize profitability.
  • As appropriate, recommend improvements or changes to physical structure, processes / production or staffing of the Warehouse.
  • Participate in park duty rotation which encompasses any needed operating or administrative functions.
  • Ensure safe operation of all equipment and vehicles by warehouse staff.
  • Responsible for the coordination of scheduling of all leadership and front-line staff.
  • Oversight of cycle counts, and bi-annual inventories of warehouse.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What It Takes To Succeed :

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have at least 3 years' experience operating in a fast paced culinary or similar warehouse environment and 5 years of leadership experience.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and able to meet Company driving standards.
  • Must have or be able to obtain National Restaurant Association Education Foundation Serve Safe Food Safety Manager's Certification.
  • Must be able to complete provided RCS Responsible Vendor Training (alcohol) & CPR training.
  • Must be comfortable and able to work with all food types, including food allergens.
  • Demonstrated success in leading people in a fast-paced, complex environment.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with ambassadors, guests and leadership.
  • Must be able to understand / interpret and train others on financial reports, to include Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, sales and budget reports.
  • Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout work shift.
  • Perform the following physical activities on a frequent basis; stand, walk, climb, bend floor-to waist / waist-to-overhead and reach overhead, simple grasp and fine manipulation tasks.
  • Must be comfortable working around fumes / dust / odor.
  • Must be able to move freely around work areas.
  • Must be able to push / pull / manipulate a rolling pallet jack with weights up to 1200 pounds
  • Must be able to frequently lift / carry up to 50 pounds unassisted; 90 pounds with assistance.
  • Must be comfortable working at heights.
  • Must be able to work indoors with or without A / C and outdoors in all weather conditions and temperature extremes.
  • Must be available to work varying shifts / hours based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts; weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be flexible in work locations based on business needs and career development opportunities.
  • What Else Is Important :

  • Working knowledge of SAP applications & Scheduling Maintenance system preferred.
  • Possession or pursuit of a bachelor's degree preferred.
