The Position :
The Bilingual HR Manager position plays a critical role in our business operations by supporting front line leaders in the organization with a strong focus on recruiting. This role develops effective hiring strategies, ensures smooth new hire processes, manages pre-employment screenings and the company's drug and alcohol program, and serves as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries.
- Oversees HR department functions, support payroll, benefits, recruitment, leave management, and ensures compliance with labor laws.
- Develop recruitment strategies to ensure job openings are filled timely and with quality candidates.
- Oversee the offer stage, new hire process, and on-boarding of new hires.
- Ensure the execution of all pre-employment screening including background checks, drug screenings, and physicals for all prospective hires.
- Manage the company's drug / alcohol program, serving as Company DER / Communicator, verifying employee applicants, enrolling employees in the program, receiving and disbursing random selection lists, receiving test results, and communicating with the Medical Review Officer (MRO).
- Ability to create, post, and maintain current job openings on company website as well as various job boards and social media.
- Review resumes and screen candidates manage background and reference checks.
- Serve as initial point of contact for company employee issues and inquiries, including but not limited to payroll, benefits and company policies.
- Oversee the communication of HR Policies, programs and procedures to management and employees.
- Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency of department and services performed and reduce costs.
- Address employee relations issues, such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other employee concerns; escalate as needed.
- Responsible for building relationships with front line leaders and employees by checking in with team members, offering feedback and supporting their career growth.
- Work collaboratively with HR Admin to lead, mentor and strengthen the HR Team's overall cross functional skills.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum of three to five (3-5) years of progressive human resources experienceMinimum of 3 years' experience in high volume recruitingBilingual in Spanish highly preferredWorking Experience in Paycom Payroll System is highly preferredExperience with DISA preferredDesired Skills and Competencies :
