An exciting career awaits you at Pomerene, we are looking for a MA to join our Occupational / Urgent Care Team. This is a part-time position working around 24-26 hours per week.

Job Summary

The Medical Assistant will assist with examinations, measurements and assessments. Acts as a resource person utilizing effective communication with the staff, physicians, and the general public. May complete general receptionist duties including greeting patients, checking in patients, and taking payments.

Essential Functions

Education

High School Diploma / GED- Required

Completion of a medical assistant course / program-preferred

Experience

1-3 years of Healthcare / Medical experience preferred

Certification / Licensures

BCLS certification

Registered and / or Certification in medical assisting preferred
