We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Quality Manager to join our manufacturing team. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to drive and implement quality standards, processes, and practices within our organization.
Salary $95,000 - $115,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive quality management system (QMS) to support the manufacturing process and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Lead and manage the Continuous Improvement process across all areas of the organization, focusing on improving efficiency, reducing waste, and enhancing product quality.
- Conduct regular audits, identify non-conformities, and initiate Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to improve product quality and prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish quality requirements from initial product design to final product delivery.
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles to streamline processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis to identify and address the source of quality issues.
- Monitor and control quality standards, implementing regular testing and inspection protocols to ensure compliance.
- Provide training and guidance to the manufacturing team on quality control measures and best practices.
- Prepare and present quality reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure our manufacturing process remains compliant and competitive.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Management role within the manufacturing industry.Proven experience in Continuous Improvement, Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), Product Quality, Lean Manufacturing, Root Cause Analysis, Quality Control, and Quality Auditing.Strong knowledge of quality standards and regulations within the manufacturing industry.Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of the organization.Proficiency in quality management software and other related IT systems.Certification in Quality Management or Lean Six Sigma would be an advantage.Seniority level
