About The Position

Job Title : Cytotechnologist

Profession : Laboratory

Duration : 14 weeks

Shift : Night 5x8-Hour

Hours per Shift : 8 hours

Experience : Minimum 2 years preferred

License : GA or Compact license required

Certifications : ASCP, ASCP-CT required

Must-Have : Must be compliant to start on time

Description :

Schedule : Monday-Friday

Weekend coverage is not required.

Call responsibilities are not applicable.

Floating within facility / scope of practice may be necessary as needed.

Candidates will undergo a clinical screen to determine fit.

If the candidate passes the clinical screen and adheres to guidelines, final decisions will be made by management.

RTO (Requested Time Off) is a maximum of 7 days.

Holiday expectations include working on major holidays if they fall within the assignment period.

If one or two major holidays occur during the assignment, the candidate is expected to be available to work those holidays.

If three major holidays occur, the candidate must work at least two of the holidays.

Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's holidays.

Full compliance is required for an on-time start; failure to comply may result in a two-week delay due to the orientation schedule.

References from two supervisory individuals are highly preferred for submission.

Candidates must submit core items promptly to ensure a timely start.

This role is open to local candidates as well.

Travelers must be away from previous assignments for one full year before returning.

Modules completed during orientation are non-billable and vary by specialty.

Candidates must be able to complete and schedule labs within 48 hours of signing the contract.

Successful completion of an assignment outside the previous facility may be required for rebooking.
