A company is looking for an Insurance Billing / Collection Assistant II (Remote).
Key Responsibilities
Perform follow-up insurance billing and collection activities on a minimum of 30 claims per day
Make collection calls to insurance companies and patients to ensure timely payment of claims
Review remittance advises for rejection and accuracy of payment amounts
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and / or experience
2 years of experience in bookkeeping / accounting and / or medical collection setting
No specific certification is required for this position
A driver's license is not required for this position
