Good verbal and written communication skills At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian Timely and accurate documentation of clinical care for at least 8-10 patients in 8-hour day Good computer skills Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. At least 3 or more years of experience as a Registered Dietitian Critical care / ICU / Oncology experience Advanced certification, such as CNSC, CSO, CDE, etc. List typical procedures performed on unit(s) : Complete Nutrition Screening and Assessment Conduct Nutrition Focused Physical Exams Attend Interdisciplinary Rounds Provide Diet Educations and Nutrition Counseling Manage Nutrition Support (EN and PN) Document clinical care in EMR Track productivity and PN appropriateness data daily on Excel spreadsheet Best personality Fit : Organized Team-oriented Provides evidence-based, patient-centered care Good at developing relationships with healthcare team members Demonstrated adaptability / flexibility in patient care assignments Reliable with good attendance REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS : Registered Dietitian Licensed Dietitian in the State of Texas Floating Area(s) : Anywhere in the hospital Dress Code : Scrub Color / Attire Red and Black.
