Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery night shift position, requiring a CO or compact license and strong clinical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital Labor and Delivery department with postpartum and PACU responsibilities
  • Care for laboring mothers, postpartum patients, and infants 32 weeks and older
  • Estimated 60 to 80+ deliveries per month, with couplet care model
  • 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends
  • Call rotation typically includes one 12-hour shift every 6 weeks, subject to change
  • Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
  • Provide care in L&D, OR, PACU, and postpartum settings as part of a cohesive, evidence-based team
  • Team-oriented environment focused on compassionate, patient-centered care
  • Limited RTO (requested time off) considered
  • Facility housing is available for rent to travelers

    • Requirements

  • Active Colorado or compact RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years Labor and Delivery nursing experience
  • Current AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications
  • Flu vaccine required without exemption
