You will be an agent for change driving the modernization of business-critical infrastructures. As a Security Engineer IV within our Verizon Cyber Security Organization, you will be working with our Unix PAM engineering team to support our PowerBroker infrastructure, processes, and users. This role will have personal will have an emphasis on performing PowerBroker User & Operational support while maintaining security policies and meeting SOX / PCI / GDPR compliance requirements.. The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating the team's operational support activities amongst their peers.

Primary Responsibilities

• Advising security and application teams on best ways to leverage PowerBroker securely and efficiently in our specific environments.
• Supporting on-prem PowerBroker and related infrastructures.
• Providing timely and effective support for users and systems.
• Coordinating operational support activities with peers.
• Performing health checks and troubleshoot application issues.
• Creating RPM packages for PowerBroker client distribution.
• Migrating and decommissioning legacy implementations.
• Participating in the PowerBroker on-call rotation for after hours support.
• Other duties as assigned.

Where you'll be working

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with hybrid work policies.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.

The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is : $101, $194,000.00.

The annual salary range for the New York location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is : $111, $194,000.00.
