Job Overview : We are seeking a technically skilled and detail-oriented CAPPS CMS AWS Integration Specialist to manage and optimize the integration of CAPPS and CMS platforms with AWS cloud infrastructure . This role involves designing scalable cloud solutions, automating workflows, and ensuring secure and compliant data exchange across systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement cloud-based integrations between CAPPS, CMS platforms, and AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows using AWS tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform, Step Functions).
Ensure secure data exchange and compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) across CAPPS and CMS environments.
Monitor and optimize performance of cloud-hosted CMS applications and CAPPS interfaces.
Collaborate with finance, HR, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver robust cloud-based solutions.
Implement CI / CD pipelines for CMS deployments and CAPPS updates using AWS DevOps tools.
Troubleshoot integration issues and provide technical support for AWS-hosted services.
Maintain documentation for architecture, workflows, and operational procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and enterprise system integration.
Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, and CloudWatch.
Familiarity with CAPPS (Centralized Accounting and Payroll / Personnel System) and CMS platforms.
Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Bash).
Experience with automation tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and compliance frameworks.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
AWS Certification (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architecture.
Knowledge of enterprise payroll, HR, or financial systems.
Experience in government or public sector IT environments.
