Management Analyst

As a Management Analyst, this position is located in an ANG Flying Wing in the Maintenance Analysis section of the Maintenance Operations Flight. The primary purpose of this position is to provide information and analyses to all levels of management using the assessments to answer the why, how, when and where questions.

Duties include :

  • Retrieving and analyzing maintenance data, presenting results to management.
  • Controlling, managing, and maintaining the Maintenance Information System(s) (MIS).
  • Conducting special studies to assess the health of the unit readiness (HUR).
  • Analyzing performance data to determine manpower, equipment, and facilities maintenance capabilities.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements include :

  • National Guard Membership is required.
  • Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment of the Gun Control Act.
  • Must be able to establish effective professional working relationships.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to obtain / maintain the necessary security clearance.
  • Military Assignment Requirement : Open to Enlisted members only.
  • Compatible Military AFSC Requirement : 2AXXX, 2WXXX, 2RXXX ONLY.

    • Qualifications include :

  • Areas of consideration include current permanent and indefinite T32 technicians of the Oregon ANG, current permanent and indefinite T5 employees of the Oregon ANG, current service members in the Oregon ANG, individuals in the active duty US Air Force, Air Force Reserve, or Air National Guard, and US Citizens eligible to meet the military requirements for membership in the Oregon ANG.
  • General and specialized experience qualification requirements involve developing, analyzing, evaluating, advising, or improving the effectiveness of work methods and procedures, organizations, manpower utilization, distribution of work assignments, management controls, and similar functions of management.
  • To qualify for this position, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level, a Masters degree or equivalent graduate degree, or a combination of experience and education.
