Position Highlights :

    • Approximately 27-28 patients per shift

    • 11 beds in the emergency department

    Schedule & Coverage :

  • Shifts

    • 24-hour physician coverage with 12-hour shifts, plus 10 hours of Advanced Practice Provider (APP) coverage daily

  • Holiday Coverage

    • Required for major holidays, including New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas

  • Specialty Support

    • Includes 24 / 7 lab, radiology, and surgery support services (cardio-thoracic, general, orthopedic, vascular)

  • Admissions

    • No inpatient admission duties required

    Requirements :
  • Licensing

    • Must be licensed in Oklahoma

  • Certifications

    • ACLS, ATLS, and PALS required for primary care-trained physicians; EM-trained physicians exempt from certification

  • Board Certification

    • Board eligibility or certification in Emergency Medicine required

  • Credentialing Timeframe

    • Estimated 30-60 days for a clean application

  • Privileges

    • Hospital / surgery center privileges are required; temporary privileges available
