LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Oakland, California.

Job Description & Requirements

We’re seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical / Telemetry RN to join our team in California. This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with strong support from leadership and staff.

✅ Requirements

  • Active CA RN License
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA required)
  • Telemetry experience required
  • EKG experience preferred
  • Flexibility to float as needed

    • 🕒 Schedule

  • 3x12s (Day / Night availability based on unit need)
  • Every other weekend required
  • On-call : As needed
  • May float within scope of practice across units / hospitals (shuttle provided between campuses)
  • Notice typically given 1.5 hours prior to shift

    • 🩺 Responsibilities

  • Provide holistic, patient-centered care for Med-Surg / Tele patients
  • Perform patient assessments and collaborate with physicians & healthcare team
  • Educate patients and families on care plans, treatments, and transitions of care
  • Monitor, evaluate, and document patient progress in the EHR
  • Maintain a safe and compassionate care environment
  • Mentor and support newer nursing staff as needed
