Superintendent

Job Description

The Axel Group is seeking a Superintendent to join our clients team based out of Lakeland, FL! The ideal candidate will have experience managing daily on-site operations for commercial construction projects as well as ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget are met. Candidates must have commercial construction experience! This position will report directly to the Project Manager and works closely with clients, subcontractors, and staff!

Responsibilities :

• Manage day-to-day field operations for ground-up and renovation projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and labor to maintain schedules.
• Enforce site safety standards (CCI is a drug-free workplace).
• Oversee quality control to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and the project team.
• Maintain and update project schedules.
• Lead with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications :

Commercial construction experience required (healthcare or educational projects a plus).

Experience with ground-up construction and renovations.

OSHA 30-hour certification required.

Strong scheduling knowledge and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Ability to work well in a team environment.
