Mosaic Life Care Physical Therapy Assistant

Location : LTACH Rehab, Northwest Missouri

Status : Full-Time

Shift : Day Shift

Pay Range : $23.58 $35.37 / hour

Summary

This position treats patients using a variety of modalities, educates the patient and family, and ensures continuity of treatment. Responsible for all necessary documentation as required by accepted medical guidelines.

This position works under the supervision of the Registered Physical Therapist and is employed by Heartland Long Term Acute Care Hospital.

Duties

  • Treats patients using a variety of modalities and procedures under a treatment plan formulated by a Registered Physical Therapist
  • Provides patient and family education
  • Documents patient responses to treatment, communicates with physicians, Physical Therapist, and other interdisciplinary team members, and inputs charges as appropriate
  • Participates in staff meetings, family conferences, and interdisciplinary team meetings
  • Participates in continual process improvement
  • Performs other duties as assigned

    • Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program
  • Licensed in the state of Missouri
  • Heartsaver certification required within 90 days of hire
