Responsibilities
Perform all essential functions under the direction of the Clinical Education Supervisor.Adhere to standards and scope of nursing practice, as well as regulatory, legal, and ethical requirements.Support programs focused on patient safety, clinical quality goals, and improving patient outcomes.Develop competency and skills to educate personnel in the use of dialysis equipment (e.g., 5008X machine) to ensure safe patient care.Collaborate with stakeholders to schedule, provide, and implement education programs, technologies, and processes for new and current personnel.Deliver training using a variety of educational methods and generational learning techniques.Support implementation of action plans and evaluate training effectiveness.Train employees with demonstration and oversight of direct patient care activities.Develop and maintain effective communication with internal and external customers, including management, facility teams, physicians, hospitals, and contracted staff.Demonstrate leadership competencies, including communication, performance management, decision-making, and motivating employees.Support KPI and metric programs with timely and accurate documentation, reporting, and continuous quality improvement.Maintain knowledge of products, equipment, services, and strategies to train staff appropriately in all modalities.Perform other related duties as assigned.Physical Demands & Working Conditions
Work environment characteristic of a healthcare facility with air temperature control and moderate noise levels.May be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases / materials.Frequent standing and bending required; ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and occasionally move equipment up to 200 lbs. with assistance.Day-to-day work includes desk / computer tasks, patient interaction, and support / training on the treatment floor.Position requires up to 100% travel, including overnight stays and deployment to different regions as scheduled.Education & Licensure
Associate or bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited school.Current RN state licensure in primary state of residence; multi-state licensure preferred.Must meet practice requirements of the state of employment.Current CPR BLS certification required.Experience & Required Skills
Minimum 1 year (1500 hours) of dialysis RN experience within the last 3 years.Experience in nephrology nursing, with strong knowledge of chronic hemodialysis.Strong communication, leadership, and teaching skills.Ability to provide training in both classroom and clinical settings.HeartCentrix Solutions Job ID #1701.
