PWM Client Service And Operations Specialized Solutions Analyst

The PWM Client Service And Operations team (CSO) is focused on providing a differentiated Service and Operations experience for our largest and most complex clients and advisors in the Private Wealth Management business segments. As an integral member of the PWM Home Office team, you will support our efforts in enhancing the customized contractual initiatives with our partners in Morgan Stanley Wealth Management.

This role of PWM Client Service And Operations (CSO) Customized Solution Specialist includes conducting daily program-specific operational tasks, identifying areas for process improvement, creating / editing client contracts, adhering to specialized solution policies and procedures, highlighting potential policy shortfalls, and working directly with our Legal, Risk, and Compliance partners around PWM's focus on providing bespoke solutions for unique client needs. This individual will be responsible for general program management of daily functions across our administrative contract programs, while maintaining strong relationships with internal partners.

The PWM CSO Customized Solution Specialist will work closely with PWM Home Office, PWM Market Executives, Consulting Group, and Private Wealth Advisors to boost PWM partnerships and establish conditions for success. Additionally, this individual will assume other project management responsibilities within the PWM portfolio as dictated by management.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Support Administrative Contract growth strategy while program availability to PWAs grows.
  • Review, update, and maintain program-specific Policies and Procedures.
  • Serve as a resource to Advisors, Support Professionals, and Branch Management as a specialized solutions subject matter expert.
  • Provide on-going updates to senior PWM Home Office leadership.
  • Manage new administrative contract onboarding.
  • Maintain client documentation, including contractual agreements and custom exhibits.
  • Work across PWM CSO colleagues to coordinate the quarterly business review materials for senior management review.
  • Assign training to new users and adopters of specialized program solutions.
  • Work with legal partners to make sure program contract and documentation stays current with firm policies
  • Identify solutions for risks and deficits that potentially pose future adversity for the program.
  • Comply with all industry rules and regulations and firm policies.

Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Up to 3 or more years of relevant experience in the financial services industry
  • Opportunity to obtain professional securities license(s)
  • Evidence of strong compliance record
  • Knowledge and Skills :

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong appetite for learning applicable compliance rules and regulations and firm policies
  • Knowledge of financial industry / products
  • Proficient in applicable software applications (Excel, PowerPoint)

    Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $58,000 and $115,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
