Job Title : Specialist Software Configuration Management (SWCM)

Job Description :

L3Harris is currently seeking a Specialist in Software Configuration Management to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for implementing and maintaining processes that ensure compliance with company standards and contractual obligations. The specialist will handle software configuration identification manage software build releases conduct configuration audits and support engineering activities

Essential Functions :

  • Maintain control and traceability of software products.
  • Manage the release process for software builds and updates.
  • Organize software configuration control board meetings including agenda setting and tracking of action items.
  • Perform audits to ensure adherence to contract requirements.
  • Generate and distribute software media for customer deliveries.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in software computer science or a related technical field or at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • 2 years of experience in a Software Configuration Management role.
  • TS / SCI CI Poly Clearance required.

    • Preferred Additional Skills :

  • Knowledge of software configuration management practices.
  • Understanding of the Agile software development lifecycle.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with continuous integration / development.
  • Ability to create archive and maintain software builds and releases.
  • Experience with version control and defect management tools such as IBM Rational (ClearQuest ClearCase) and Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA Git Bitbucket) is advantageous. Excellent attention to detail with strong communication skills.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to meet important deadlines.
  • Familiarity with the Atlassian Tool Suite (Confluence JIRA Bitbucket) is beneficial.
  • TS / SCI and CI Poly preferred.
