The role :
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Senior Cost Accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate manufacturing cost records, analyzing variances, and providing financial insights that drive operational efficiency and profitability. This position works closely with Operations and Finance leadership to ensure accurate cost accounting and reporting. Location : Bellevue, WA (On-site).
In this role, a typical day will look like :
Developing and maintaining cost standards for materials, labor, and overhead.
Managing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close for cost-related accounts in compliance with US GAAP and Veralto Finance policies.
Reconciling inventory balances and supporting physical counts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Partnering with Finance and Operations teams to analyze production costs, raw materials, and operating expenses, identifying cost-saving and process optimization opportunities.
Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes focused on manufacturing costs.
Collaborating with production, procurement, and finance teams to deliver actionable cost insights.
The essential requirements of the job include :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
5+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of cost analysis, financial reporting, and GAAP compliance.
Experience with ERP systems; Oracle Fusion preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.

This range may be modified in the future. An associate's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 USD per year.
