Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring a KY or compact RN license and two years of recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

Position is in a hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab

Shifts are 7a-7p or 7a-5p, with 12-hour or 10-hour day shifts

Patient population consists primarily of individuals requiring cardiac catheterization and related interventional procedures

Responsibilities include providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related procedures

All travelers must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility

No local candidates will be accepted for this travel position

Team members are expected to complete onsite mandatory trainings as required

A professional and collaborative environment is maintained within the unit

Requirements

Active KY or compact RN license required

Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience required

Current AHA certifications required; certificates must not expire in the same month as start date

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required and must be active at the time of consideration

Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training required for all RNs, may be completed onsite

COVID and Flu vaccinations required with documented proof

No gaps of 3 months or more in work history unless explained
