JOB TITLE : CNC Programmer

LOCATION : Greenville, SC

PAY RATE : $31.25-36 / hour

Summary :

Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using CAD / CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks, CATIA).

Develop detailed setup instructions and tooling specifications.

Improve existing programs to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle times, and improve quality.

Set up and configure 5-axis CNC machines, including workpiece and tooling alignment.

Conduct test runs and make necessary adjustments for accuracy and performance.

Troubleshoot and resolve machining, tooling, or program-related issues.

Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements.

Select appropriate machining parameters based on materials, tools, and machine capabilities.

Inspect finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications.

Partner with engineers, designers, and production staff to ensure alignment on project goals.

Provide technical support and training to operators and team members.

Document program changes, setups, and process improvements.

Follow quality control procedures to ensure precision and consistency.

Perform routine maintenance on machines and tooling.

Review measurement reports and verify part tolerances.

Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Maintain compliance with company standards and industry regulations.

Requirements :

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or CNC programming certification preferred.

Minimum 3 years of experience as a CNC Programmer, with a focus on 5-axis machining.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
