Junior Platform Engineer

We are seeking a Junior Platform Engineer to help us develop, build, and deploy full stack systems for our customer's advanced collection systems. In addition to delivering the current version of the systems, you will get to help shape and design the next generation systems. We are looking for someone interested in continuous improvement - personally as well as in the products that we deliver and the tools that we use in-house. You will work with a team of friendly, smart, professional, and proactive engineers and computer scientists. This job has opportunities to travel domestically and internationally. Responsibilities :

• Build and deploy physical and virtualized systems to customer locations
• Provide continuous integration support for deployed systems to ensure that they are up to date.
• Integrate 3rd party software into our systems
• Manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) at the platform and application layers
• Design the next generation of systems and help migrate from RHEL7 to RHEL8
• Maintain the local representative systems to mirror the deployed customer's systems
• Assist developers with building and installing RPMs and containers

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
